May 2023-Commissioner Thomas Supports SECOR.

As a Secor donor, I have always heard about the wonderful things that Secor does for those in need, but recently I had the privilege of walking a family I know through the market. Having been to numerous food banks whose cupboards were nearly bare, it was so moving to see them filling their basket with healthy foods, overwhelmed by the generosity and care they were receiving from the Secor volunteers. When a family is making the choice between paying their rent and feeding their children, it is inspiring to see the difference that Secor makes.
